KEYS & MONKEYS ROCK THE GARDEN
A real treat was seeing the Arctic Monkeys billed to open for Joon, as a big fan of theirs. Just as good as the Kaiser Chiefs & Green Day were a few years back. Their setlist was peppered with songs from earlier discs but mostly from their last two cds. Hopefully, they will catch on in the States like they are in the UK and Europe, where they draw very big crowds. Watching them perform over the years, they have become a very good band, polishing their skills. Their sound was great, even when it was just the two of them, it filled the Garden. If you are a big fan of raw guitar playing and big drum sounds, this is a show for you. The Arctic Monkeys played a full set (16 songs) and could be seen as a headliner. Joon were very good. Well worth the price of the ticket, it's like two shows in one. Look forward to seeing them again later this month when they return for their second show. Enjoy.
